About

The basin of Pánuco reaches almost 100 square kilometers and ends in Tamaulipas. It gets to touch various parts of northern Mexico thanks to its long extension. It crosses both desert and jungle. That is why it is of vital importance for all the regions it touches. Sadly, it is one of the most polluted basins thanks to oil residues. This mainly affects fishing and agricultural actions.
